A major Public Realm commission for the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus (TQEC) will create a world-class artwork that is a landmark for this new campus, contributing to the arrival experience and welcoming local and international visitors.
The new dynamic artwork will be integrated into the public realm on the site. The brief invites the exploration of technology and diverse media to develop a public artwork that reflects the themes of innovation and research exemplified by the University Institutes that will be homed at TQEC.
This public artwork should also reflect the identity of the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus as a Global Civic Campus, with a welcoming culture of belonging.
The artwork will encourage people to congregate, explore and engage with the work of the University through playful interactivity.
